We practicaly stumbled on this small restaurant while looking for a place to eat. It was kind of hidden in this small street, and we wanted to give it a try. It was not that occupied at the time of our visit, and we were served by the owner himself. As a plus he told us the history of the restaurant, which was a family owned and operated at the moment primarily by him and his mother. They also prepared dishes by themselves and these were delicious and relatively cheaper, compared to (much busier) restaurants closer to the Grand Canal and St. Marco's Square. We found this place by chance after visiting the Leonardo Da Vinci museum. The owners are very friendly and kind. The food was very yummy and children were welcomed. Our kids found it delicious, too. The menu is simple and authentic which is perfect. It’s off the crowds.

Amazing and authentic place run by Italian couple. You can clearly feel the home-like taste of the dishes. The lasagne was sooooo good I forgot to take a picture before I ate it. Literally the most memorable dinner in Venice!

This was amazing food, amazing atmosphere and the people working there were so hospitable and polite.
Such a cozy place and friendly staff! They recommend the homemade tiramisu to me and I have to say it was the most delicious tiramisu I've ever had :) and of course, not forgetting the aperol spritz, which goes with every meal in Venice 🍹🤍

Stopped in for some delicious, authentic Venice food. The service was excellent. My server was incredibly friendly and considerate as well as thoughtful. My seafood pasta was out of this world and the tiramisu was divine.

I loved my time at Caffe San Rocco! They have a wonderful eggplant parmesan and several other delicious vegetarian options. They have a mix of options so everyone in your group can find something they like regardless of dietary restrictions. The owners are incredibly kind and wonderful. The atmosphere is very comfortable and lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!

An early weekday dinner. A Spritz A Bigoli de Salsa A Zuppa Di Pesce A Tiramisu Unforgettable culinary experience, savoring what Venice can offer. There is only one dessert in the menu - Homemake Tiramisu, and it speaks volume of the confidence the owner have that they only needed one dessert 😍😍

Amazing place we revisited twice (which we don’t normally do), husband and wife run the place and bring fresh vegetables in from their home garden everyday. We told him we were vegetarian and he was able to tweak anything to make it so. They put more effort into making the custom daily drinks than most places do on the food. Everything was great but the vegetable lasagna in particular. Highly recommend!
What an amazing find. Obviously a family run restaurant and nothing was too much trouble. The food is some of the best we have had in Venice and the atmosphere is superb. I cannot recommend it enough.

An underrated restaurant hidden by the walls of Venezia! The food here is absolutely delicious. The Margarita pizza, the sea food pasta, the caprese and the sandwiches were all spot on. We also tried their tiramisu which was also amazing and not too sweet which is great. The owners are very friendly and sweet. Surely is a place you want to try if you’re visiting.

Last night in Venice, walked in for diner, I was immediately charmed by the owner who always smile and welcoming, she is chef herself, made us amazing homemade style food, authentic and tasty, this restaurant is definitely underrated! After a tiring walking day in Venice, this is the place to go to feel cozy, comfy, with good food, good people! My highlight in Venice!

We stumbled on this place today, it’s a lovely setting in a quiet courtyard and the food is exemplary. The warm greeting and handwritten menus give a cosy feel, the owner is hugely passionate about his food which is all handmade which was prepared for us fresh. We had a Caprese Salad with a delicious tabbouleh and a fantastic tiramisu. This is the best food we have had in Venice this far and such a treat to find!!
The food is AMAZING. I've tried a few restaurants near by on my trip but none of them come close to the taste, the service and the atmosphere. Their food and service were THAT amazing that my friend and I decided to come here every day for lunch/dinner time for the rest of our trip. ✨️🩷 Lovely people to have a quick conversation too!
